WHAT ARE FULL SPECTRUM TERPENE BLENDS?
Introducing a brand new line of products, our "Full Spectrum Terpene Blends", bring a new meaning to botanical derived terpenes. This product has been long in the making and we are proud to announce the first of its kind, Our Full Spectrum Blends are almost ready to be released.
What is the difference between a full spectrum terpene blend and a regular terpene blend?
First to understand this, we must be aware that up until now there just a handful of categories when talking about terpenes: cannabis derived, natural botanic terpenes, & synthetic terpenes.
1. Industry Derived Terpenes are assumed to be the holy grail of all terpenes. While we do admit that they are absolutely incredible, there are several problems which make it not really feasible in the commercial world. First off, even though these terpenes do contain a pretty high amount of terpenes, we are not able to extract the full spectrum of 100+. Most industry derived terpenes only contain 1/4 to 1/3 of that. Secondly, the prices of the terpenes are extremely expensive and really is just for that connoisseur who is willing to pay $100-$400 per gram. Next, it is nearly impossible to get a consistency when dealing with plant extracts, there are way too many variable with growing that will make each bottle of the same strain smell and taste just a little bit different. If you want to become a big brand, consistency is key to success. Last but not least, terpenes are pulled from a federally illegal plant and as a company we choose not to risk everything we have built over the last several years and choose to allow for another individual to provide that service, more power to them
2. Natural Botanic Terpenes have been used for thousands of years inside of essential oils. This industry has been developing for hundreds of years into the commercial manufacturing industry we currently live in. Flavorings for food products, oils for vitamins, isolates for the pharmaceutical industry. Every single one of these industries is all about consistency, there is a reason why a can of coke tastes the same every time. Imagine if a company's pills had different ratio's, lawsuits would be insane. There is no reason to not take advantage of the all the stability that these industries can provide the developing cannabis industry. Most of the new terpene companies that are forming including us, are using 10-30 terpenes inside each of our blends. Which is only a tiny fraction of the actual amount of terpenes present inside the plant. While these terpenes blends do provide a good taste, aroma, and mild effect enhancements, in order to truly procure that indicia downer effect with a real head change, you need a full spectrum terpene blend.
3. Synthetic Terpenes are straight made from chemical inside a lab. Mostly everyone avoids these.
4. FULL SPECTRUM TERPENE BLENDS is a brand new category that we are pleased to bring you. Inside of each one of the terpene blends, is 120-200 terpenes. A special factory has been developing a way to produce every single terpene naturally, then blend them in. These guys have been working extremely hard to find a way to make this happen with both quality and consistency. These blends go extremely well with all of our other blends as well. Using just 1% of these with 3% of the regular botanic blends have had extremely positive feedback. While they do cost a little bit more than our regular blends, they are about 5x the cost to produce to us. But they are still much cheaper than cannabis derived terpenes and way more consistent.
So to answer what the difference between our normal blends and our new full spectrum blends, about 75 more terpenes!
